Sussex Community Foundation is looking for a Head of Marketing and Engagement. This is a new role and the successful post-holder will help us make our relationships with donors even stronger, inspiring them to give more by increasing their opportunities to see the impact of giving through the Foundation.
We are an expert local grant-maker, supporting grassroots charities across Sussex. Over the last year, we have given grants totalling £4.7million to hundreds of frontline charities to support local people through the pandemic. As well as responding in a crisis, we are there for the long term – building a sustainable source of funding for local communities for generations to come.
We raise funds by providing a bespoke service to high-net-worth people and organisations, helping them to make a difference to the local causes they care about.
Sussex Community Foundation is one of the fastest growing community foundations in the country. Our success is based on deep and trusting relationships with our donors. Trustees and ambassadors have played a key role, helping spread the word about the charity and by introducing us to potential donors and professional advisors.
You will develop and implement the Foundation’s Marketing and Engagement Strategy to support our ambitious income targets. This will include developing marketing strategies, creating inspiring communications, strengthening stakeholder engagement and giving added impetus to the work of the trustees and ambassadors in promoting the Foundation.

Salary: £41,894 per annum,
