Sussex Syrian Community Group is run by Syrian people living in Sussex. They provide a drop-in advice surgery and case-work support, especially to families and people newly arrived in the UK. They organise social and educational activities, including language classes, music school and gatherings for the whole community. This funding to give support to 20 families for two months, including contributing to the cost of food and bills and buying one family a phone. It is also for staff costs for remote working.
