Sussex Community Development Association aim to build stronger, healthier, more inclusive communities across East Sussex. A network of community centres SCDA develops services that: are driven by need and community involvement; are person-centred and meet local needs holistically. This grant is for supporting their Covid-19 response at SCDA Seahavens Food Bank, working with volunteers to include freshly cooked meals in food parcels for vulnerable Food Bank beneficiaries. They will also distribute a ‘Budget Bites’ Cook book to help people with the cooking of nutritious food using food bank parcel contents.
