Southwater Community Centre brings together the inhabitants of local authorities and voluntary groups in a common effort to improve the conditions of life for all residents in Southwater and the surrounding area of St Leonards on Sea. The centre was used by approximately 200 people before the lockdown restrictions began, participating in meetings, training, classes, therapy and support groups. This grant is for urgent refurbishment and adaptations to the Community Centre to meet government social distancing guidelines when they re-open.
