Gatwick Detainees Welfare Groups provide emotional and practical support to 700 men whilst held in two Immigration Removal Centres at Gatwick Airport and after release, work to promote fair treatment, and to raise awareness of their situation. This grant is for intern costs of working two extra days on their destitution fund and other administrative duties and for supermarket vouchers for released detainees, to be spent between September 2020 and February 2021.
