More and more Sussex-based businesses are working with us to help them to achieve their charitable and corporate social responsibility aims. Some are large companies like Southern Water and American Express and others are smaller like William Alexander. Some wish to give to communities in the areas where they operate, such as William Reed Business Media in and around Crawley and William Alexander in Brighton & Hove.
The William Reed Fund has been set up to provide a focus for the company’s local charitable giving and to help engage employees in supporting their local communities. The Fund provides grants for social welfare projects with a particular emphasis on supporting local organisations where employees have an involvement and where a small grant can go a long way.
William Alexander Recruitment is an IT and Business Change Recruitment Consultancy, based in Hove. Established in 2010, they are continuing to grow year on year. William Alexander Recruitment decided early on that they would like to be involved with local charitable giving and have chosen Sussex Community Foundation to enable this. They have set up an annual fund of £10,000 to make grants twice a year within Brighton & Hove to support causes close to their hearts.
