Making it easy to give to Sussex in the way you choose
Sussex Community Foundation helps donors who want to give to Sussex to plan their giving. By using donors’ funds to make grants directly to smaller charities and community groups, we improve the quality of people’s lives across Sussex. Since 2006, we have raised £45 million for Sussex, over £23 million of which is in endowment for the future.
The main service we provide for donors is our ‘named fund’ but there are plenty of other options too. We offer the donor a bespoke, flexible and convenient service, whether you are an individual, a family, a company or a charitable trust, so you can plan and develop your giving in the way that you want. We undertake all the day-to-day work involved in managing your fund and running the grant-making programme. We put you in touch with the smaller, less well-known charities and community groups that need your support. Our guarantee is that money donated to us will only be spent locally in support of Sussex.
