Over 200 leading entrepreneurs and business leaders listened to a stage interview with Lord Rumi Verjee CBE about his life (business and philanthropic experience/lessons) and to heard a speech and engage in an open Q&A with The Rt Hon Vince Cable MP, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills. The event included contributions from David Sheepshanks CBE DL — Chair, UK Community Foundations and Baroness Usha Prashar CBE — Honorary President, UK Community Foundations.
