In recognition of these challenging times and the rapidly changing nature of coronavirus (Covid-19), we wanted to provide a message of support and reassurance to all our applicants and grantees. We want to do whatever we can to ensure that you can continue your work and to support the community through the challenge of Covid-19.

During this period, our staff team is mainly working from home and there is a skeleton staff in the office. We are very much open but it will be easiest to contact us by email.

You can either email any member of staff directly or email here.

Latest grant decisions

We are doing everything we can to ensure that the timetable for grant making decisions for this round is not affected and, if you are awaiting on the outcome of a grant application, you should still hear by the end of next week.

Delays to project delivery

We appreciate that many of the organisations we support may have difficulty in delivering services and projects. Don’t worry if you need to delay the activity we have funded. We are happy for you to keep the funds we have given you, until you are able to deliver the activity you applied for.

Changes to funded activities

If there are any changes you may need to make to your application, or if you have any issues with the delivery of an existing grant – please don’t worry, we are able to offer flexibility on timescales and/or moving your grant award to other, more pressing needs, if that is required. Please do let us know if this is likely to be the case and we can respond accordingly.

Projects to support those affected

Please let us know if you are planning immediate projects to support people affected by corona virus or if the current situation is affecting your charity. We are looking into ways that we can make funds available to help charities in this situation.

Whether you are a foodbank needing help with food distribution, or a project supporting those in isolation, please do consider coming to us for support. We wanted to highlight our Argus Appeal Fund fast track grants process which provides simple and quick access to funding for emergency and unexpected needs.  Please visit here for more information on how to apply

The NCVO has some useful information about the steps you may need to take in order to best protect your organisation, in light of the spread of Covid-19 virus. For more information, please visit the National Council for Voluntary Organisations website.

Finally, we will keep you updated of any further changes. If you have any suggestions for us, please do let us know by calling 01273 409440 or emailing our Grants Team
