Newhaven EZ Community Fund Supports charities and not-for-profit organisations, with a focus on encouraging a sense of place and building the thriving community; innovation in community participation, addressing inequality, raising aspirations and developing opportunities for active engagement. Nick & Gill Wills Fund Supports charities and community groups providing services for women who are vulnerable or at risk of abuse, exploitation or violence and promoting equality and women’s rights.  Sussex-wide General round application form Summer round (May deadline)
Nino Fund Supports charities and not-for-profit organisations focusing on benefitting the environment and promoting environmental sustainability; reducing waste and energy use; promoting healthy living and the outdoors and nature conservation. Sussex-wide General round application form All rounds
Open Door Fund Supports charities providing services for people who are homeless and vulnerably housed and on low budgets, in financial hardship or in debt, or who have difficulty managing their finances. A preference for preventative work, projects using creative approaches and educating financial literacy.   West Sussex Specific guidance and application form. Purple Fund Supports charities and not-for-profit organisations addressing social isolation among older people and people with mental health problems. A preference for creative projects and those using contact with cats or other animals to address disadvantage. Rampion Fund Supports organisations that benefit the broad community, in particular those focussing on benefitting the environment and ecology, climate change and energy. Grants of up to £10,000. From Littlehampton Harbour in the west, to Beachy Head in the east and up to the A272 near Twineham in the north  Specific guidance and application form. Spring round (January deadline)
Rooney Foundation Fund Supports grassroots charities and community groups providing services for children with special needs and their families.  Sussex-wide General round application form All rounds
Rye Fund  Supports charities and community groups initiatives  benefitting the local community, with an emphasis on improving social, cultural and educational provision; promoting Rye as a sustainable social and economic hub of the surrounding community; and improving and maintaining the built environment. Sierra Gorda Fund Supports small community groups and charities that address disadvantage and build stronger communities. Westoute Fund Supports a range of charitable causes with an emphasis on preventative work to minimise disadvantage. Projects focussing on addressing drug & alcohol misuse, mental health issues and homelessness.
