We give grants to a huge range of charities and community groups across East Sussex, West Sussex and in Brighton & Hove. 
Most of the groups we fund work to tackle disadvantage and deprivation but many more support their communities by running all sorts of services and activities.

The £800 we gave to the Summersdale Afternoon Club near Chichester, to cover the costs of regular members’ outings for this weekly social club for older people, is an example of one of the smaller grants we give. One of the biggest was to the Moulescoomb Forest Garden and Wildlife Project who received £30,000 to rebuild their tree house after an arson attack.

But most of our grants are between £1,000 and £5,000 and go to smaller groups where a small grant can make a massive difference.
