Rivers provides a platform to empower women to take up new challenges, building confidence building, reducing isolation and accessing education. This grant is for providing a support network, including a space for women to attend and one to one support sessions.
Rivers supports vulnerable women who, due to social, economic or other lifestyles, face barriers to accessing services. As a direct result of Covid-19, many are unable to seek support from valuable friends, external families or other organisations. This funding is to provide basic food, female hygiene products and toiletries to lessen the extra financial burden for women and girls.
