Friends, Families and Travellers works to end discrimination and achieve equitable treatment of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities. Poor health status, combined with poverty, overcrowding and historic issues related to accommodation put Gypsy and Traveller communities at higher risk of being infected by Covid-19 and at greater risk of severe outcomes as a result of contracting Covid-19. This funding is to help meet additional staffing and IT support costs.
