ESTEEM is currently drawing on their reserves to fund the budget needed for additional costs, relating to Covid-19 activity. ESTEEM has 47 young people on their safeguarding register who have two one-hour sessions each week, with a further 20 young people who are showing signs of needing intervention. This grant will fund ESTEEM staff to meet young people online for two hours a week of one-to-one well-being check-ins as a preventative measure to escalating anxiety and depression.
