In normal times, The Bevy is a pub focussed on serving the community. This grant will enable them to continue their Bevy Meals On Wheels Service, providing food for vulnerable people and families experiencing food poverty, developed this in response to the Covid-19 crisis.
The Bevy is a community owned pub, providing, hosting and supporting activities making Moulsecoomb and Bevendean a better place to live. This grant is for the continuation of Bevy Meals on Wheels, ensuring that shielding people receive nutritious food and safe social contact.
The Bevy community pub has converted into a food delivery and social isolation service for the period of the coronavirus crisis. This grant from the Sussex Crisis Fund will enable it to give local people access to nutritious food, alongside safe and responsible personal interaction.
